  • MOVE-IN: Friday, September 19, 9 am to 9 pm

    BOOTH SETUP DEADLINE: Friday, 9 pm, completely ready by Saturday 9:30 am (Event opens 10 am)

    MOVE-OUT: Sunday, September 21, 5 pm to 8 pm

    You will be assigned a MOVE-IN time window (AM or PM) closer to the Event (no assigned MOVE-OUT times). Vendors can enter + exit the Market hall during MOVE-IN, MOVE-OUT, + Event hours Sat + Sun, through the Loading Door Entrance on the west/rear side of Exhibition Place.

    Please move your vehicle to Vendor Parking area after unloading, do not block Loading Door.

    Please don’t tear down until Sunday 5 pm Event end time.

    Be sure to bring your own carts or dollies for MOVE-IN + MOVE-OUT.

  • Please continue to use the Loading Door Entrance behind Exhibition Place as the east Main Entrance to the Market will be busy during public Event hours. Security will be in place during Event hours. Please be at your booth by 9:30 am to be ready for doors open at 10 am.

    You will receive a digital Vendor Pass for access to the Market hall during Event hours.

  • We will assign your Booth number and notify you closer to the Event. The invoice you received confirming your participation notes the type/size of Booth that you have purchased.

  • Booth Space includes BarkFestMB.ca Vendor Listing, Social Media Posts, BARKS + BONES Magazine Vendor Listing, + Free Wi-Fi.

    Note: Electrical, tables, chairs, flooring are not provided (bring your own/rent).

    Booth wall dimensions should be 8’ high back wall, 3’ high side walls, Corners can have one open side. Pipe + Drape rental is Optional (drape colour is Dove-Beige/Taupe). If you are bringing your own custom/hard walls, plan dimensions to allow for a potential 6” deep electrical box situated between the back of the booth + your custom/hard wall – i.e. booth should be approx. 9.5 ft deep, not the full 10 ft.

  • Vendors can bring their own display items or rent items such as tables, chairs, carpet from Central Display, the Event’s Display Contractor. We’ll provide you with a Vendor Rental Services information package from Central Display so you can order any items you might need in advance (discount pricing for advance orders). Central Display will also have a Service Desk on site during MOVE-IN for any late orders.

  • The venue charges for Electrical Service. If you didn’t indicate your electrical requirements on your Vendor Application, please complete the following Electrical Order Form to indicate your electrical requirements (15 amp Single Outlet $65, 30-50 amp $110). Be sure to bring your own extension cords to plug in multiple items.

  • Yes! When you enter the Market hall front doors, to the right (north wall behind the Bar & Café seating), there’s a Charging Station so vendors can charge their various devices during the Event.

  • Items cannot be attached to rented booth draping using nails, pins, screws, or staples which will in any way damage the drape surface. You can use “S” Hooks to hang from the pipe which are available at the Central Display service desk for a minimal fee, or other hanging method that doesn’t damage the draping.

  • Yes, arrangements can be made with the Venue to hang ceiling signage or banners where possible. Advance planning and delivery of signs or banners is required. Please contact Event Management at hello@moonandstarsproductions.ca if you require signage/banner hanging. Venue charges $75 per ceiling-hung banner/sign.

  • No, booth space may not be shared, transferred or sublet. Your booth can’t be used to display or promote another Vendor’s items or services, unless the items are provided by another official BarkFest Vendor in the event. Cross-promotions with other BarkFest Vendors are ok!

  • Yes, Vendors can sell or sample Food + Non-Alcoholic or Alcoholic Beverages but must obtain all necessary permits, certificates, or licenses including LGCA Licenses + Manitoba Health Food Handling Permits. Proof of Licenses + Permits must be provided to Management ASAP. Food + Beverages sold in Vendors’ booths must be their own products. All Food + Beverages sold must be packaged.

  • Shipments or deliveries to Red River Exhibition Park should arrive no earlier than MOVE-IN day Friday or they may be refused. DELIVERY ADDRESS:

  • Yes, dogs are welcome at BarkFest! Please be sure you + your staff review all Event Rules + Dog Welfare Guidelines to ensure a fun + safe event for everyone. Vendor must ensure that their dog is in good health, has proper vaccinations, is not of an aggressive nature, is not in heat, + is free from any diseases or conditions that would make it a danger to any individual. All dogs must remain in the confines of the Vendor’s Booth display space during the event, with the exception of taking dogs on a leash no longer than 4 feet for breaks or to the designated Dog Potty waste stations outside when necessary. Please clean up after your dog + dispose of any waste in the designated Dog Waste Bins. The Venue floor is concrete, be sure to bring comfortable bedding/mats/crates and food + water bowls for your dogs to use while in your booth.

  • Yes, Vendors can store a limited number of items, boxes etc. in the designated storage area behind the draping by the Loading Door Entrance. As per Fire Regulations, packing materials, boxes, cartons etc. can’t be stored in your booth space.

  • Vendors must leave their booth in a clean condition + dispose of garbage in the designated Garbage + Recycling Bins outside the Loading Door.

  • CLICK HERE to View Road Map + Directions. Vendors can park for free behind /west of Exhibition Place (the Market) in the designated Vendor Parking areas. Please leave the Loading Zone area in front of the Loading Door clear. During Move-In, once you’ve unloaded, please move your vehicle ASAP to a Vendor Parking area to make room for other vendors. Trailers should park along the west perimeter of the Vendor Parking area.

  • Vendor must take steps necessary to insure themselves against any such loss + agrees to provide proof of business liability insurance to Management prior to the Event. In any policy obtained by Vendor regarding this Event, Vendor shall name BarkFest / Moon + Stars Productions + Publishing Inc. as an additional insured subject to a minimum $2,000,000 liability limit.

  • Vendor displays must comply with all Red River Exhibition Place Fire + Safety Regulations. All materials used for draping + decorations must be fire resistant or treated with a flame-retardant solution. Aisles must be kept clear at all times. Packing materials, boxes, cartons etc. can’t be stored in your booth space. If you plan to have an enclosed or covered structure (pop-up tents/canopies) please notify us as these must be approved by the Venue + Management. Vendors with tents/canopies must bring their own fire extinguisher to keep in their booth space.

  • Yes, but Vendors must ensure any sound level emanating from their booth is not at a level which will disturb surrounding Vendors. Please be mindful that dogs can be sensitive to loud noises.

  • A BarkFest On-Site Event Phone # will be provided to you closer to the Event. BarkFest Staff will be also available at the Info Booth located just inside the Market Entrance (Exhibition Place). Staff will also be situated outside at the Ticket Entrance gate and throughout various areas during the entire event. In case of any issues, illness, or injury for you or any dogs, find a member of the BarkFest Team or Security, or go to the Animal Welfare/Emergency Medical Services Tent by the Zoomies Zone. For medical emergencies call 911 and also notify BarkFest staff or Security.

  • In accordance with the City of Winnipeg Smoking by-law the venue is designated non-smoking. This includes cigarettes + e-cigarettes. Smoking is permitted outdoors but must be 8 meters from a building entrance. The consumption of cannabis is not permitted at Red River Exhibition Park.

  • Please ensure you and your staff are aware of all Vendor Terms + Conditions.

  • We estimate approximately 3,500 people + their dogs each day, total 7,000 over the whole weekend.

  • CLICK HERE for BarkFest Tickets. Limit one dog per adult attendee 18 years of age or older. Dogs, + children under the age of 5, are FREE Admission with a BarkFest Adult Admission ticket. Parking is FREE. Event is Rain or Shine.
